Carved Zuni Fetish Readings
Native American Zuni fetishes are small carved stone animal figures which are believed to contain the Spirit of an animal and are used as mediators between the Zuni people and the Spirit world. The Zuni people treat their Zuni Animal Fetishes with total respect and honour and care for them, feeding them with cornmeal so that the Spirits of the animals may feed on the spirit of the cornmeal. It is by treating them with respect that they return their knowledge.
The Zuni people would sit before their carved stone figures to consult them for numerous reasons. They would have consulted their Carved Fetishes to gain spiritual insight into where they could find animals to hunt for food, or to seek advice on their tribes well-being and for many other reasons.
When you consult these carved animals you are consulting the spirit of the animal that they represent to gain insight and clarity and guidance. As a Shamanic Practitioner I connect with the Spirit of the animals of my Carved Zuni Fetishes to gain answers for you, using traditional Shamanic techniques.
